U.S. quits UNESCO over ‘anti-Israel bias’

The United States is dropping out of the United Nations’ Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, officials have announced, only months after that international organization went “delusional” by declaring the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron as a “Palestinian heritage site.”

The Washington Examiner Thursday quoted Heather Nauert, a State Department spokeswoman, confirming the plans to make the move before the end of the year.

“This decision was not taken lightly, and reflects U.S. concerns with mounting arrears at UNESCO, the need for fundamental reform in the organization, and continuing anti-Israel bias at UNESCO,” Nauert said.
